Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born on the 9th August, 1976. Audrey was the eldest child out of 4. At a young age, both her dental surgeon parents and her teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theater and drama. It was this love that trumps her first desire to become a the first primatologist. It was a quick rise for her to be an internationally renowned young actor. In 1998, after completing her degree she was invited to participate in Jeunes Premiers which is a French show on TV that is a talent-scouting initiative, which is sponsored by Canal+. There she won the award for Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. This led her to embark on a professional acting career. Tautou is a pupil of her school at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and studied there at an early age she has since renounced her Catholic childhood. Now, she claims to be a non-Catholic. In addition to acting, she pursued modelling and was the model of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Photography is another obsession and she was recently shown her work at the Arles festival under the name Superficial. Through her photography, she focuses primarily on celebrity and the spotlight. The camera's focus is at journalists, who sat and watched her rise to fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her debut role as the lead in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was an international box-office hit, receiving accolades at awards galas around all over the world. It's the highest-grossing French film made in America. In the years following the film, she appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
